Streets At Midnight Is Live!


It's been a long and tough road but Streets At Midnight is finally done after several months of development.

This is likely your first time hearing about it, but the brief rundown is its a Zombie shooter inspired by left for dead and cod zombies. I attempted to blend the pacing of left for dead with the gun play of CoD as best I could in a way that would be enjoyable.  This is my first release (and my first unity project to go on longer than a week!) and I think it's turned out as good as it could. Many lessons were learned, and many aspects of the game engine were explored that previously I had known nothing about.  

Lighting and Unity's URP limit for example was a limiting factor at some points with me needing to find creative workarounds. Making a trailer and learning how to use OBS & and editor like OpenShot. Creating logos, sounds in my basement, learning Audacity. I could go on and on but overall making this game has been a pure joy and a true exploration of knowledge.

 Anyway I'm rambling, the point is I truly hope you enjoy this after all the work I put into this.

I'll be using devlogs in the future for patch notes primarily, and any development plans for the game in the event that it is received well. I've setup the UI and codebase easy enough to add other maps, so please leave some feedback and let me know!
